Female Foster fitting for filling an FX Impact?

I just got a new Impact and the Foster fill fitting is a real !@#$% to disconnect. The slip ring is recessed into the fill nipple area and requires a needle nose pliers to slide back. Any good suggestions on a replacement fitting that is easy to remove?

I must say I can't believe FX has not changed this fill issue. For a state of the art air gun it's a huge over sight.

I love my Impact but it's almost embarrassing when filling at friends houses and you have to ask for a pair of needle nose pliers. Lol.

I use the fill nipple that came with the impact. I have no problem getting it on and off. I'm guessing you have bigfoot gigantic hands?

Same, I grab the last groove with a fingernail and off it comes.

the female that comes with my crown goes on and off no problem but any other foster i cant even get it on so i put a male on the end of the one that comes with the gun so i can connect it to another foster

Buy the BEST fittings they are worth the difference. Krale in a couple days.

I took my smooth fitting to the lathe and put a groove in the bottom of the fitting because it was hard to access for removal. Now I can use my fingernails to get the short beast off of there. That longer foster fitting shown above coupled with a 90° elbow would be ideal when tethered to the tank and bench.
