The company I work for makes the policy, not me. Hope that resolved that issue. Gezz.
We work with high explosives so there are very strict requirements to abide by.
If I could have made the decision to hire him I would have. He was willing to clean up, take the drug test and come back but I hired someone in that time frame. It takes over a month to get the THC put of your blood and piss.
I liked the guy, he seemed like a good man and a hard working land scraper. He just wanted a steady job with benefits.
I have no problems with felons owning an airgun.
Also, when I stated about dishonorable discharge I only meant that when you go to purchase a Firearm that's one of the questions as is drug use.
Lastly, I don't give a hoot who smokes weed, I gave it up 50 years ago and now it's legal here in the blue state of WA.
