I hadn't heard from Scalf , Marvin being his real name, either on the forum or by text in a couple of weeks. I'd sent him two or three messages with no responses. About three weeks ago he was busing taking care of his 94yr old mother at the hospital and at home so I was assuming the worse could have happened there.
Last night I got a text from his phone but it was his son. He said his father had a bad accident and had undergone brain surgery 15 days ago. He said he has responded some over the weekend but not anymore detail than that.
Although I haven't met Marvin in person we have visited back and forth on different gun issues quite a bit. I consider him a friend for sure. I asked his son to keep me informed on his recovery. Please keep Marvin and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
