Beautiful guns. You wonder why they quit making these stocks. They are the most comfortable to shoot. I put one of these stocks on a HW85K that I shoot regularly. Here is some more tyrolean art. Walther, FWB, Diana

 This ones kinda unusual, it’s a homemade one. Some guy in Florida I believe made a version of a tyrolean stock, I Can’t remember his name. It’s on an old Diana 74, the other is on my HW85K .22 cal that I shoot.

It's simple why they are no offered (custom ones are) they are not the most comfortable to shoot for many, were very expensive and were banned for 10M matches. The Beeman R1 for an example nearly doubled in price when offered with a Tyrolean stock! Supposedly those with "rounder faces" find Tyrolean stocks where those with narrower profiles often find them very uncomfortable. 

Here is the rest of my Tyrolean collection, none are custom they are all factory offerings which I prefer.

Thought I'd add a little tyro madness to the post. great platform for target shooting. I find them a bit hard to use in the woods as angling upward feels odd with the sculpted cheekpiece.

Since so many enthusiasts like these, I wonder why some talented woodworker does not make accurate copies for folks who have nice airguns with standard stocks? Can't you just put an original on a rotisserie like machine and reproduce copies?

Specie, The cost of the blank and the labor involved most people don’t have the means or the desire to pay. JM getting out of it also now. I check his site often anytime a nice stock comes up I try and jump on it. I got an amazing English walnut DIY stock from him.

A custom stock like that would be an easy $300+. Not many people are willing to pay that.

What is the purpose of the squared stock on the top?

Here's HW and Walther. I think both stocks must have been made by the same supplier?

 The two little holes on the RHS of the HW are where the tag from the seller is supposed to be present.

Works of art. Those sights look so cool. Are they accurate? Are they a mini scope, or a glorified steel sight? Can those sights be bought in aftermarket? I have a Diana Mauser K98, I think if doable, would they be more period than a scope? Thanks Crow

Very nice. I have an HW55T that I was fortunate to pick up a few years ago. I like the design of the HWs and Walters and agree with the comment that they look like they are from the same stockmaker. While I do not think the Diana or FWB tyroleans look as elegant, it would not stop me from buying one.

the sights are called diopters and are not scopes but high precision "iron sights" what they use in 10m matches.
