Feinwerkbau 800 Universal and suppressor

Looking to suppress this rifle. Only reason is the noise from the gun drives my dog crazy even when she is upstairs so I need something to quiet the gun when I shoot it in the basement.

I do not use the peep sights and only a scope so that not a problem. I know the weight at the barrel comes off and the tube (not barrel which is inside) is 0.776" in diameter. The weight of a suppressor is not a problem because the front sight and weight which is now off weights in at 166 grams or 5.9oz.

I have seen Youtube video of home made ones so that is an option. Or if there is an off the shelf one available which I don't know about?

Anybody has any experience with this?

Ordered the suppressor and received it today (about a week) – arrived with no damage. Installation was easy and fit/finish excellent.

Suppression was incredible! The ONLY thing I could hear was the pellet hitting the paper of the target, no noise from the gun at all or from the pellet catcher as I have a couple of blocks of that GB Duct Sealing Compound against the catcher.

It looks like POI changed slightly but easy to fix with a slight scope adjust, but here is a 5 round group shot off the bench with a bipod and a rear bag from 10 meter before I adjusted the scope – a one holer!

DARKHORSE1967 - thanks again for the recommendation ...

Highly recommended.

Jlow sir, Mr. Neil has made a lot of people happy with his creations.

He even raffles (for free) 2-3 of his LDC's every Christmas in the GTA Forum.

I am glad you like his work.

Frankly, I have not gotten myself a NC LDC because what I want is either too short or too thin.

So he told me straight that it would not work, and I do believe him.

On another hand, Mr. Clague also makes reflex-type LDC's (part of the LDC slides into the barrel) for those who would like to have it shorter than a regular one.

Yes, Neil told me in retrospect because of the thickness of my "barrel" which is 0.776" in diameter, he had to ream his stock tube out. He apparently likes thin suppressors as he has found that they are just as quiet as thicker ones as my experience confirmed. A thin suppressor of course is indeed pretty sexy and of course not as heavy. So I really lucked out!
