I put a pair of combat boots and went out and shot one NRA 10M target. The boots made me more stable, but honestly I still "suck" but hope it improves. I can feel a twinge of soreness in my arms from holding the gun up, but am sure it will pass. It's not fun getting old, nor for the faint of heart! I did switch over and was using my FWB 300s, because it is much easier to cock and load. I cannot tell much difference in the trigger with it and the 602.

Today I tried the H&N Finale Match 8.18gr pellets in the FWB 603. I feel that they outperform the RWS R10 Match in this rifle. I also adjusted the cheekrest and buttplate for better fit, and experimented shooting with both eyes open. When I shot target archery I shot with both eyes open using an open ring sight and it worked great. Seems to work well with the diopter too.

11 meters off the bench, no offhand yet.

Yeah, a little off on that one. I’m still amazed how close they are with the subconscious centering through the drilled lens front aperture.
