Feinwerkbau 124 repair

I replaced the seal. I am trying to put the barrel back on the receiver and cannot get the bolt hole on the receiver to line up with the hole on the barrel in order to put the bolt through the area where the barrel is hinged. There is just a slight amount of setoff between the two pieces. What am I doing wrong? The lever is in the cocking notch correctly.

I don't know anything about the 124 but did you install the barrel BEFORE installing the spring and end cap? That helps on most guns.

Tried that and the problem remained. There is a ball bearing and I am wondering if that needs to be depressed some but it doesn't want to budge it seems.

You aren't trying to install it with the barrel going straight into the tube by chance (locked up position)? I always install my barrels in a half cocked position with the spring out of the tube.

Yes sir that is exactly what I was doing. I just watched a u tube video again that I have watched uh well more than once and would have sworn he was putting the barrel back together straight. Nope it was at an angle and guess what when I tried it, it went together just like it should have. I hate it when I do stupid things like this. Thank you for your comment.

I did mine straight. No problem.

Barrel needs to be attached BEFORE installing spring and trigger group !!!!

Sounds like you got it figured out. Yes the pivot bolt has to be installed with the barrel broken open. Got to lube and slip those pivot bushings in there too as you passed the pivot hole through the receiver form and breech block.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I posted another thread where I got this back together but now it won't send a pellet down the barrel.
