I was able to check out the new permission during the day to see the activity of the starlings for the first time. There were quite a few of them, however, this farm is quite busy during the day so I would have to try to do some shooting during the weekend when there are not too many workers there.

I was surveying the area and there were a few spots that I could set up and target these pests. On this day I was able to tag a few starlings and doves. Hopefully I will get a few more next time. The rats number is down as well, but I managed to tag a few in this video as well.

Enjoy.

Another great video! I'm going to copy your holdover drawing on my setup. Why did you pick 10, 13, 15 yards as opposed to finding the yardages that matched up to the dots?

eta- I like the collared dove shot at 8:30. It looks like he got a bad bad feeling just before the shot broke and turned to look at you.

@Hal4son. Thank you. I typically zero this rifle for 30 yards and my maximum rats distance is about 50 yards. I had to rezero this quickly that night because in the previous video my cross hair in my Pard was not in the middle of the screen. A viewer advised me to get an adjustment mount to centre the cross hair but that mount wasn't available so I figured I would try to remount the Pard. I pushed the rear bracket on the Pard to the right slightly while keeping the front bracket screw slightly loose. I then tighten the rear screw and then the front. Well that actually worked and my cross hair was more to the centre now. Not 100% dead centre but close enough. I might order that adjustable mount when it is available. As with the hold over points, I was in a rush and didn't have enough time to set it up like I did in my previous video. I could set the zero to 15 yards, but no particular reason really, just preference I guess. Ya that dove took a glance at me and bam! It got tagged. Thanks for watching.
