You need a durable break barrel air rifle that is accurate enough with iron sights that is quiet ( sub sonic ) and night vision scope. So any break barrel under $400 is out!
That leaves you with HW's, Dianna's ( remember iron sights is a must ) and Beeman R9! That is what I would go with! Beeman R9 probably is best fit for all out worst case scenario. You are going to want to go unnoticed so the night vision would be great help. You should know how to trap and fish within reason. Knife and slingshot as well. Bowie style knife with hacking and sawing ability. This isn't "Die Hard ~ Nakatomi Tower " so a good pair of shoes/boots as you will be doing a lot of moving. People that over think / prep carrying a lot of crap for every possible situation will not survive these situations. Do not follow them or their advice. Keep it simple.
