6X SWFA MOA Quad is my all time favorite hunting optic. I can easily take birds out to 120 yards, if I do my part. I have the 10X too but the 6X is much easier to hold steady off-hand or from a hunting position or field rest.
Thanks igolfat8. Great suggestion. That was my top choice too when I made this post. The only thing that's holding me back is that my eyesight ain't what it used to be and I find myself losing the reticle more and more and think I'll need some sort of illuminated reticle.
Dedal is illuminated and a great fit for the Classic Leshiy. Did you buy that one listed earlier?
I believe a previous poster compared the SWFA to the Dedal but I can't seem to find the post. As I recall the Dedal had a greater field of view, better eye box and better glass. But Dedal has capped turrets if you're a dialer.
SWFA had great glass for the money and exposed turrets. Plus no integrated mount so more flexibility in mounting for eye relief and height. Good or a bad thing depending on your point of view.
I do wish I could mount my Dedal a bit lower and a bit further back on my Leshiy but I do really like it a lot. I've had it off my Leshiy many times and I've never had to re-zero when putting it back on. Maybe a single click for windage and elevation a time or two but that's it. So when looking at the price of the Dedal (and the weight) you do have to consider that it basically comes with a high quality set of "rings" built in.
Dedal focuses to four meters. SWFA is 10 yards or meters.
