Went to one of my "permissions" with Nick (Socaloldman) this week hoping for some ground squirrel activity. Got these 5 in a short period of time & another earlier that was unretrievable. Nick never even saw anything that day. They're FINALLY starting to come out. Felt bad for Nick but, hopefully, there'll be many more chances for all of us here in So Cal soon. I just happened to be in the right place, time, etc. Man, I love my pcp's & hate ground squirrels! Deadly combination. 
Glad they are starting to come out unlike last week we had.....The death march up and down those hills....
