Falcon S30 5x30x50 vs Vector Taurus 5x30x56

Can't speak to the Vector but I own the Falcon. I use it in HFT. Great depth of field resolution (the reason I bought it) A word or caution that may or may not be a factor; It does not focus down to 10 yards - 10 meters yes but not 10 yards.
I also own a Falcon 3-18i. I think the 5-30, all things being equal has just a touch more brightness and clarity.

Marcool and BSA are made by the same company as the Tac Vector and Falcon in China. I would shop around and buy the cheapest brand. The Discovery shows some similarities but can't comment for sure if it's from The same factory in China. YO!

So my son is currently using the Vector Taurus 5-30x56 on his Ruger precision 22 LR. It is a great scope. It is a big scope that requires extra high rings on his 22 LR. It tracks great. He raves about the center dot. He finds in much more precise then a plan cross hair. The magnification ring and the parallax rings are very stiff but do loosen up with time. Over all I would buy another one.
