Early English PCP, google Falcon FN12 FN19 for info.
I got one in a left hand stock cheap, so I did a terrible thing to do to a nice old rifle! Compact carbine.

The paint can be removed,look at it as a protective cover. Like the cheek riser, looks great and might even look better if the shroud was blackened. Is it loud? Looking for a moderator to quiet it down, barks like a .22 mag. Thank You!

The paint can't really be removed as I converted the stock from left to ambidextrous by filling with car repair filler (nickname "bog" in NZ)

Forgot to say, The shroud has a couple of baffles, so it quietens the gun a bit, but not as good as a full sized suppressor. You right about the shroud paint colour, I was feeling experimental at the time I did this job.
