Joe,
Great review, I know as of late, a lot of shooters are onto the Falcon 10-50, and many speak it's praises.
I had a slightly different experience with the original Falcon the first year or two it came out.
I acquired said scope, and mounted it on my then newly rebuilt Steyr LG 110 FT. I sighted it in, and off to the Crosman All American Field Target Championship, the last year it was held on the Crosman grounds.
What impressed me about the scope was its ranging. I had a 1" space between the distances of 50 and 55. Almost the same between 45-50 as well. After the literal heat of the competition came on, the scopes ranging capabilities failed. Where there was once almost 2 inches of travel on the sidewheel between 45-55, that was reduced to only 3/8" after the first day, making the second day almost impossible to range correctly after 45 yards. I took that scope off, never using it again.
Anyway, with all the praises that have been coming from everyone recently, it makes me possibly want to try another, newer one down the road. But one can see I'm a little reluctant, due to my previous experience.
Hope you have success with my slugs,
Happy New Year
