If you were going to send a rifle in for a tune job to get the max the rifle has to offer who would you send it to the factory or a dealer? Some folks don't have the equipment or knowledge to get a tune perfect... Just asking... Thanks..
the manufacturer generally doesnt have to worry about satisfying individual consumers directly thats my take at this point .. your more likely to get taken care of better by a dealer that is used to demanding customers ..
i have to think that depends on the factory and the dealer. there are dealers that sell all kinds of airguns, but may specialize on tuning certain popular guns, like the marauder, in which case you probably want to go with that particular dealer.
Heard of a guy that sent his Remington 700 powder burner back to Remington for a bolt replacement. When it came back the bolt was replaced but so was his $400 custom trigger. Something to do with liability laws. As far as I know he never got his trigger back.
Would something like this happen to airguns sent back to the factory?
