Factory Regulated Daystate Regal Shot Count

There's a HUMA fill probe conversion at the end of the reservoir where the male Foster and fill dust cap used to be with a manometer to read overall tank pressure while the factory under the stock manometer reads regulator pressure only.

Thanks, Yo

Sold by Huma?

My search of their website just turned up empty

Ed

Its probably a DAYSTATE-HUMA PROPRIETARY THING that HUMA AGREED NOT TO SELL OUTSIDE OF DAYSTATE. Best guess you need to buy it from a Daystate dealer or buy the HW version. OR WHO KNOWS? Maybe HUMA hasn't updated their website yet to add that Daystate Regal Quick fill Manometer endcap and probe. WHY NOT Shoot them an email to ask about it?

Very interesting. I just got a new HW100 .22 sporter carbine from AoA, and have been evaluating shot count.

I'm getting 40+ shots from red (200 bar fill) to yellow. That's what Weihrauch states on their site. Power levels are around 27 foot pounds. The carbine differs from the standard HW100 only by the shorter barrel. It has the standard stock and 170cc bottle.

I had heard the HW100 had low shot count, but it would seem it's in the middle of the pack.Whew!!

Bigragu sent me this link a while back. It's Regal air cylinder gauge and fill probe adapter.

Thank you, thank you, jking

Exactly what the doctor ordered!

BTW

Did you happen to notice that there are 5 hash marks per 100BAR on the gauge.

Correct me please, but that calculates to 16.67 BAR per mark, correct?

Makes one wonder why, as it's not very intuitive

SilentSquirrel,

if they taught me correct in school wouldn't that be 20.😉 I did notice they were ought of stock though. Just a FYI, I did get one of these for my regulated pressure and it's only off by 5bar and it's incremented in 10bar. I ordered it from Huma at the same time I ordered the regulator. Trenier may have some as well.

Would be nice to know what size mini gauge the Daystate QF End & Gauge uses. If 25mm was an option this would be a nice one. It's in 10bar increments as well.

Yes, I have seen those Huma gauges.

Very nice

AOA says 23 mm fits into the Regal XL stock; but I'm measuring anyway next time the stock is off

Also

My intention is to contact HW100 today and learn more about their quick fill set up.

Including gauge size.

About the markings on the gauge

At first I made the same mistake

4 lines between 100 & 200 break into 5 spaces each equaling 20

5 lines break into 6 spaces each equaling 16.6 +/-

Take a look at the Huma gauge from 100-150 as an example

Ed,

Everything is 110% factory original. Daystate sells a factory Huma regulated version that comes with the regulator gauge and a fill pressure gauge and a non regulated model that comes with only a fill pressure gauge, I believe you can add an aftermarket Huma regulator to the non regulated model. I don’t know if you can add a regulator gauge to it though.

Thanks for the reply, Serdac

According to member Yo, there is an aftermarket fill set with gauge from Huma for use with their regulator

Still searching for it, as it's not coming up on the Huma web site.

I imagine your gun is relatively new,and you won't be taking it apart anytime soon

However, should you ever need to disassemble some of the top end, I'd really appreciate a PM with pictures & dimensions of the hammer spring components of the regulated version

They are the hammer spring, spring shim (or bushing), and spring sleeve.

So far, no one I've contacted has been willing to say with certainty twhether the components of regulated & non-regulated Huntsman are the same or different.

Ed

Will do if I ever take it apart.
