YES! Take it apart! Clean it out.

To take it apart, lay down a towel so you dont lose the interior parts and grab a 'pickle fork' from your security bit set. Its the largest of the twin prong bits.

The brass cap should come off easily, turn the Ez over and use a soft plastic item to tap out the contents of the Ez and clean them up.

Replace them into the body in the order above and add a drop of silicone oil as you add the parts, add all you want, we will spray out all the excess at the end. DO NOT over torque the cap, just seat it and give it a tiny extra bit to seat it.

Once reassembled, hook it up to your tank and SLOWLY open the tank valve, sue your leak detector on the Ez and make sure its not leaking. Open the tank a bit and trigger the Ez to blow out the extra silicone oil.

Put back into service.

Note: The spring wire is 0.016" and you can wind your own or see if a small spring from the hardware store will fit in the case that it is rusted.
