While looking at night vision clip ons, think One Leaf, I came across eyepiece cameras. Some of them have small screens and others have no screen but you can wi fi the image to your phone. I'm just curious if anyone here has any experience with them and what can they tell us about them? I understand they are NOT night vision/thermal and all that jazz. Seems like it could be a very inexpensive way to film your shots. Anyone ever use these devices?

I just spent a chunk of change, $250.+, on a SideShot with 1" and 30 mm adapters.
It fits my old iPhone 10, but not my Galaxy Ultra.
Things I didn't like:
The video image is backwards requiring video editing, but it is an inconvenience as a real time monitor.
It leaks light when in bright sun.
Its a bit tricky getting propper alignment of the cross hairs level.
I have only spent one day with it, so It may improve with experience.
Heres a look at it 75-yards in bright sun.

Thought of getting one of those for recording target hits via spotting scope. Cool concept. The one with the built in led screen could theoretically be used for a scope cam depending on how much eye relief it needs.

I was actually looking for some for quite a while but didn't like the idea of another thing to attach to the scope, so I opted for the full package night vision scopes with recording ability included. They can be pricey but then again there are good deals floating around to save some cash.

I have a TriggerCam 2.1 and its a very nice setup unless the scope has an illumination turret or if the field target wheel is too large and you can't slide it on the scope far enough. For the money I would go with an electronic scope (Zulus or similar) if they are allowed in your area.
It is bulky but I can still focus (range) properly through the prism glass, I would not hesitate to use it on a scope during a FT competition.
