Eyeglasses or not?

I’m near sighted so I must wear my glasses all the time to see my flags etc. so head placement is crucial for FT or hunting etc. “cheek piece” and when I shoot Benchrest my gun is in the rest I don’t touch the gun except for the trigger finger so with the high power scope I must move my head in a small circle to make sure I’m parallax free

I can't see my fingers distance without reading glasses.
Tried bifocals and progressive and don't like em for anything else but night driving my car - not to get a speeding ticket.
During day time I don't wear glasses, just cannot stand them and this how I built my daily routines around strategic points in the house.
At the bench on and off is my drill and pretty emotional, the glasses gettin greasy so fast :) .

Just a few curious questions? For those who have to wear eyeglasses.
1. Do you have single vision or Bi focal?
2. Do you remove them to site trough your scope or leave them on?
3. Do you find that shooting without your glasses more or less accurate?
4. Can you focus through the scope better with or without glasses?

Thanks for your answers, and replies.
Here’s my lessons in a nutshell buy a pair of
progressive eyeglasses made for shooting only
get the biggest lenses possible so you have a large sweet spot in the middle
distance at the top and
put the readers minimally in the lowest part of the lens.

I don't wear glasses except for reading, driving or watching TV.

I started down the path of learning how to shoot with glasses on but struggled with it.

During that process I found several people who had custom bifocals made with a taller distance vision section to make shooting with glasses on more comfortable.

For what it is worth. I don't remember what sources they used for the custom lenses.

I talked to my eye doctor about separate near & distance glasses so I'd have one pair dedicated for shooting. He thought it was a good idea but for some reason I struggled with it. To be fair, I have vision issues that are atypical.

I have Bi focals (progressives)
Usually leave them on at public ranges, due to safety glasses requirements
I can shoot much more accurately without them, as I seem to have to move my head around with glasses in order to get a good line of sight through the scope.
I can focus better without my glasses, even though I have astigmatism.
