Extremely inefficient shipping

Has anyone experienced something like the following from Crosman? I put an order in last Thursday and now it will be Thursday tomorrow and it still has not processed. Most places these days have their act together enough to ship the same day or the next day after an order is put in. I contacted them yesterday and they told me it would ship today but still has not. Really frustrates me!

I've had nothing but great shipping with Crosman, Pyramid air on the other hand is a different story. The Smart post shipping option on a pair of scope rings was 8 bucks to CT.

It took two days to process and then the order sat in a fed ex facility for two days. When I emailed PA I was told I should have selected a faster shipping option. I felt like an idiot paying someone 8 bucks to ship a item that weighs in at 12 ounces. It took 8 days to receive the rings.

I will not be ordering from them again. Sponsor or not..... That's the last 8 bucks they get from me.

Having ordered two airguns from Crosman in the past year, that's par for the course.
With mine, I ordered them shipped to a friend. Crosman waited 2-3 days, then contacted me to make sure it was OK. (security concern) I understand and appreciate that, but why did it take 2-3 days?
Two more days later, they shipped it.
Three days after that, it arrived.

That, combined with their spotty quality lately has really soured me on them. I do appreciate good customer service, but I would prefer the product to work properly and be shipped promptly, so that Customer Service is less necessary.

If they don't shape up, they're going to lose their ass to the Turks. Patriotism only goes so far, as GM and Chrysler found out.

@farmerjoe That is true, but..... none of them can match the deal that Crosman gave me, so at the end of the day it is definitely worth it. On their site it says that they ship out next business day so that is how my expectations got set (of course many external vendors set them too). Either way good news is the Treekit Companion kit should be here early next week!

@tony I am always amazed at how much PA charges for shipping. I havent even looked lately but the last time I did there was a large disparity between what AD charges as compared to PA (PA much higher)

@Smaug I was thinking the same thing about the Turkish competitors. Hopefully my stuff will be OK, but I feel exactly the same, I would rather not have to use lousy service than have to use excellent service at the end of the day. Did you have problems with a Prod?

Yeah, barrel was junk. 1" groups @ 14 yards with its favorite pellet. I called them, they asked me to check several simple things, and if none of them were the issue, they offered to pay to have it shipped back and fixed by one of their gunsmiths. Another week or so shipping it back and forth, and however long their warranty queue was? Disappointing. I thought about a Marmot Militia barrel, (about half of the customers who get bad Marauders seem to go this $150 route) but a kind forum member offered me his old P-Rod barrel, which was fine. That fixed it, but I'm done with anything Crosman for awhile.

"Olevey"Agreed at a list price of $400 plus 14 yards should be automatic one ragged hole at worst. Hopefully I won't experience these quality control issues but I will keep you informed. Still has not arrived it's scheduled for tomorrow even though it's been sitting at a local UPS for over a day (don't get me started on that).
May The Force be With You.

Well I will say it was worth the wait! I got the Treestand Companion kit and the Prod is amazingly accurate and easy to fill with a hand pump since my tank is empty at the moment. It Came with 4 types of pellets and they all shoot well. I also love how easy it is to adjust the spring tension and throw, I wish all companies did it like this. The 2X scope is useless for me though, the eye relief is like 3 feet it seems.
