Extreme temperature , Humidity fills anything I need to be concerned with

I have my bottle filled at a scuba shop and so don't use a hand pump but I do almost always find myself refilling my gun with a fairly large difference in temp in one tank or another.
As an example yesterday I walked around the woods in 20 deg weather and did some target practice then came back to the truck which was fairly warmer and refilled my gun from a warm air tank.
Should I have any concerns for condensed moisture from these hot to cold tank fills?

You should be good to go. Scuba air is normally very low humidity, so I doubt you will have issues. Just make the fills, slow, and controlled.

Yea I kind of wonder the same thing, Filled my tanks in 80 degree day low humidity , Keep them in the house at 75 degrees go out and shoot them at 30 degree temps
I leave them on the table hours between shots in temps of 30 to 40 degrees, Is this bad for the gun?

The temperature/humidity you fill your rifle from a tank does not matter. What matters more is when the scuba tank was filled, did the tank filler have an air drier on his compressor in good working condition. If the air in the tank is dry, then the air in your rifle will be dry.

They make a filter attachment that helps dry the air for hand pumps I will see if I can find a link and post it

Q: How would you know if you had moisture in your air reservoir on your rifle?

You typically don't know moisture is inside your air cylinder until one day a seal blows and when the gun is opened up to fix it, corrosion is present.

Basically its just a dry silica gel reservoir you pull your air intake through. So basically, a fitting for the inlet, a fine mesh screen, a container (PVC or the like), and then a cap that lets air in, usually filtered with mesh as well.

no you shouldn't have to worry. just buy a dehumidifier and it will take the humidity out of the room where your pumping.
​I have the same problem where I life. now that I have a dehumidifier in my room where I pump I have the humidity it my room down to 35% vrs 75%
its a win win for your airgun seals

My Sheldon compressor has a air dryer on it, Its all first class stuff , But D man sales a add on to any pump or compressor with a changeable filter that may be the way to go
Just kind of double dry air, I know any moisture in a PCP is bad news ,
Just looks like a good investment to me.
