Extra Strict Quarantine calls for VIRTUAL PESTING

💀 Extra Strict Quarantine calls for VIRTUAL PESTING 💀

🔶 Here in Peru the COVID-19 lockdown is much harsher than in most countries.

▪You can't leave your home (except for groceries and medical reasons, and workers in those sectors)

▪No vehicles, no driving!

▪No--one out after 6pm, or all-day Sunday

We've been doing this routine now for 2 weeks. 🙄

And then the Peruvian government added 2 weeks more.

And 2 more.

And 2 more.

And it will add more, I have no doubt....

🔶 Now I'm happy to report of some pesting I did. Well, I need to explain....

I just had a semi-clandestine meeting in front of the supermarket with the owner of one of my pigeon permissions, a cow corral.

With no-one selling pellets, he was out of pellets for his Hatsan springer, so I sold him three cans of pellets at half price to fight the pigeon plage off (as cow farmer he doesn't have much money, like most Peruvians).

So, today that was the extent of pesting I could do while under strict quarantine.... 👍🏼😄

🔶 The type of pesting I did today is called virtual pesting

just like virtual meetings, you're not actually THERE —

but you still get the job done — to kill 'da critters. 💀

Pesting vicariously through the cow farmer!!! That sucks man, sorry to hear you are under that extreme. I recently got sick and have been feeling like I got shioot out the backend of a T Rex and haven't had the opportunity to hit up a recently acquired permission. I still need to fully meet the farmer and get a rundown of the no no's on his farm which is huge and is totally infested with birds, and rabbits. Hope you get the chance to get out soon so you don't lose your mind.
