FX Extra airtank

Hi, I have an paintball tank I was thinking of using as an enxtra airsource to my crown mk2.
If I buy something like this can i have the vale open all the time so when I shoot it draws air from both tanks, or do I need to shoot Down my main bottle first and Just use it as a fillbottle?

I don’t see why you couldn’t leave it connected and shoot from both, as long as it’s below max fill pressure.

Most paintball tanks have an 800 PSI or lower valve. Your MKII uses at least 1800 PSI plus depending where you have the regulator set. I know of one valve for paintball tanks that outputs 3000 PSI (200 Bar), it's gold, https://www.pyramydair.com/product/...ulator-fits-90-cu-in-carbon-fiber-tank?a=5019. Works great if you want to shoot tethered. Where the MKII will use 250 Bar.

It's an expensive valve at $180, probably better off with something like this https://www.pyramydair.com/product/av-4500-psi-hpa-jubilee-valve-5-8-unf?a=8893 and only filling the paintball tank to 250 Bar, or filling the paintball tank to 300 bar and filling the MKII every few magazines.

I have both types. Over time, I've gotten to like the Jubilee better as it allows me to fill my gun to max pressure where the gold valve only allows 3000 PSI.
