External regulator hiccups.

So I won this regulator on eBay, I researched the company and these are custom built for customers off a base model. For instance this one has the lp port where the hp port typically would be, you'd think.

Anyways that's easily overcome as you can see.

Got it used and the hp gauge is smoked, this is why I'm testing it before heading to the range with it, luckily I ordered a bunch of brand new wika gauges (to replace these two and some on my compressors).....

With that said , I opened up the degas on my bottle adapter and only the hp side drained, it left pressure between the lp port and the fill port on my texan... slowly bleeding the air out now by loosing the fitting.

Any suggestions for a bleed valve to put on that side of things? Anyone using one?

These regulators (at least the Aqua one) self bleed when you turn the regulator down.

I turned this one all the way down , it didn't bleed. I figured it would but didn't ,so I ordered a SS bleed valve to run inline with this, very small so not cumbersome. We will see how it functions after the new gauges and the bleed valve. At least it held air, I won it on ebay for a song, brand new the reg is well over $1000.00...

I really need to call them and give them the serial number and see what the actual build is...
