The last shot was hilarious! Even without a head, he was still hanging on! Any idea what he was shooting? Those birds were literally exploding on impact!
I dispatched a rat yesterday with my AEA Challenger .30 Cal, shooting 44.75 grain Hades at 1011 FPS! There wasn't much left to the rat! He had to be shooting those sparrows with at least a .25 or larger!
My career cranked up with-crow mag will do it, there isn’t much left of a starling or sparrow . It really makes a satisfying pop when hit to, and pieces go flying all over.
LOL! Well it is the Hunting section and it does have a disclaimer: Warning: May contain graphic images! Note to self, no viewing of the Hunting section before breakfast!
It's a daystate redwolf safari, he doesn't say cal or what slug he's using, but he did say 65 f.p.e. version so I'm thinking .25 cal. Those have to be Hades or HP slugs at 950 + the way they're coming apart though!
That absolutely looks like .17 HMR type damages. few of the shots a HOLE appears before bird comes apart being clear sign of HYDROSTATIC shock that pellets or slugs in air rifles seldom do at extent shown.
