Hi Shooters,
I just took delivery of a new FX Wildcat in .25 (700mm Barrel). I already know this will be a fun but expensive journeyÂ
, but as my youngest son is not fun of fishing it will be well worth it if he'll gets hooked on shooting / hunting. I went for the Wildcat over the Dreampup bottle for two reasons, I wanted the forward cooking and I wanted to hand pump the gun....The hand pumping idea went out of the window today and I picked up a 7 litre carbon bottle instead, I wonder what is nextÂ
, ooh the Donny FL Sumo was next....
I really really like the Wildcat so far, only thing I miss on it is a regulator gauge, but should I one day wake up with high confidence levels, then I will cut into the synthetic stock and install a Wkia or Huma gauge. I have seen pictures of the gauge install on this forum and will eventually ask you guys for advise when the day comes.
I have one question though; is the hole on the air cylinder the AMP regulator hole? A 2mm allen key fits there, but I will be sorry to mess things up before even getting started, so I aint touching it for now. . I cleaned the barrel yesterday, pulled out the liner, liner came out with only 1 o-ring on it. Having seen Steve's vlog I knew there were supposed to be three o-rings. No problem, just shaking them out, and the 700mm comes with four o-rings.
Going to sight in tomorrow if the weather permits, happy expensive days.
