You may be interested to read this interview with Bob Beckwith, the CEO of Crosman. Bob shares some insights with us into the company and its strategic direction for the future.

This is part one of the interview, the second part will appear in HAM on May 3rd.

I have to tell you that Bob was very open to my questions and direct in his responses. Of course, he can't tell us everything the company has planned or specific details. That would be commercial suicide! But it's clear that he has a strong idea of where he plans to take Crosman and that the company will continue to be a powerful player in the future of the airgun industry at many levels.

Definitely looking forward to part two. It was an "interesting" move on Crosman's part to add the Fortitude to their line with such similar street prices to the Maximus and Discovery:

Maximus = $230
Discovery = $280
Fortitude = $299

Three PCPs within a $70 price spread... I honestly don't see how if the Fortitude delivers on the basics of what it promises, that it won't put a major dent into the the sales of the other two rifles.
