Exclusive First Benjamin Fortitude Test Review Published

Hard Air Magazine has just published the first test review of the new Benjamin Fortitude.

Here's a summary:

- 60 consistent shots per fill

- good accuracy

- very quiet

- heavy trigger, 5 Lbs 9 Oz, same as Disco and Maximus, so known fixes available

- heavy bolt action

Overall, pretty good for a $300 multi-shot, regulated PCP. At this price, it's great value. They'll probably sell a TON of these! For full details, see the HAM review.

Nice review, too bad about the trigger and bolt but having said that many of us added stronger hammer springs to both the PRod and MRod so the heavy pull is something many may already deal with. Still a great launcing piont into the world of PCPs..

Shooting at only 10 yards with a PCP is like an insult. PCP need 25-50-100 yards to see what they are made of.

We need shot count with different pellets and grouping. Chrono in the mix makes it all legit.

Sound levels need to be taken and compare to the King Benjamin Marauder.

Crosman could talk about the warranty as whats covered and what will void the warranty.

FPS and pellet count needs to be talked about.

"40fps" every knowledgeable shooter I know has always been wrong then.

Hopefully ( and very likely ) a regulator break-in issue ( tho regs should not need "broken in" ). Even the ninja regs hold =/- 15fps everytime.



LOVE the concept and will be looking for one on the used market!
