EVOL first blood!

Haven't posted in here on a very long time. Just cause most hunting stories for me aren't special. Just me shooting an airgun taking down birds on the farm. But this one is special. I did it with my long waited EVOL! It's been terrible weather lately for shooting recently here being extremely dense fog where you can't even see anything past 80yds let alone anything after about 20yds was already blurred. Anyways yesterday we were surprised with beautiful clear air and some sun to boot! Anyways brought the EVOL out. Birds were scarce today though. Only one tree that was across the way had some birds keep landing in it. 82yds from my setup the one straight ahead

A group of starlings kept coming back to this tree over the course of 45min. I had previously shot a dove out of the tree earlier so knew my dope already. Well 7 shots later over the course of the time and 7 starlings down! This gun blows me away in accuracy and consistency.

It would be awesome to have an Airgun built like a firearm! I always wondered why you were selling such nice stuff in the classifieds! I may have to sell a Glock and or a motorcycle to get one of those!

bertman thanks! It truly is built like a firearm. And yeah I've had many nice things but this ones in a league of its own. My scope is an Athlon Midas Tac 4-16x44 with SWFA tactical medium rings. My bipod is the Accu-Tac FC-G2. Gun is tuned shooting the JSB 18gr at 870fps. Came tuned shooting the 25.39 RD monsters at 880fps which was also crazy accurate. Just didn't need the power.

That’s fantastic! Beautiful setting/views. Nice shooting too, 7 for 7 I got to shoot one at EBR last year. Very solid. Was a bit loud though.

Thanks! Yeah I was shocked at how I just kept nailing them! And we do have a beautiful area we live in. I was concerned about the noise level with everything I heard. When I got it it definitely had a pop to it. I then realized it was set at 44fpe. Dropped it to 30fpe and man its quiet! Thanks to STO working with Tom on a new insert. Very happy to have gotten one of the first ones with it.

Dillon, beautiful land you have...great photography! Hey, just a thanks for leading me toward an Athlon scope, just purchased an Ares BTR 2.5-15x50 FFP MOA APLR3..should be here tomorrow or Thursday, got it on sale , looking forward to mounting it on my RAW!
