Have a EvoL .22 HPS myself. Love the thing. It is a bit of a pig on air. The thing is very accurate. Being the HPS was designed to shoot slugs I will say that it shoots pellets amazingly well also. Just need to shoot the heavies. I would agree with the EvoLs being more of a hunting airgun but I personally feel its fine for paper as well. I tend to shoot a of paper around the house but when I go out I take various things like cans of sodas to set up at long ranges. Lets not forget the pest birds that linger around. If airing up is not an issue and you have a fill station/compressor your good to go. You could hand pump it, but... yeah.
