I am ecstatic to report that the gun is a tac driver once again!!Phew it had me worried for a bit.
Barrel has been meticulously cleaned and will be maintained at this level.
Also happy to report that after servicing both regulators they both keep psi to the nearest -+2 psi and no speed deviation what so ever!!
Still have a leak beacause if i leave it pressurized the bottle pressure drops, I will be hunting that down later.

JTS 22.07gr at 52 meters 978 fps 1430 HP 131 LP dwell 14 with +- 1-2 fps differences, slowly getting there!

I always got a slight raise in reg pressure with the fill pressure, but will now monitor now I seem to have the reg pressure under control, but I am now finding that both 10.34 gr and 8.44gr pellets shoot at almost the same velocity, something that it's never done before! More testing to do, but it's looking hopeful for the fabled single figure FPS, but right now I am chasing leaks! Teach me to remove and reseal the fill valve as I had to check it since several have reported shredded O rings, and strangely mine just has a metal plug with just a single O ring that just slides up and down first time I have seen a valve like this, should have taken a pic.
I’ve actually seen one like that on Amazon and thought about using one like yours just because I figured it would probably give him longer service life. But I wonder how it acts under high-pressure like that versus the other one.

here is an interesting diagram from Skout about the lower frame and the air path from the bottle.
it “appears“ that there are a number of small allen screws along the frame. it’s possible that one or many of them could leak.
I believe that they used Red lock tight.
unfortunately, the only way to check them is to take the whole upper half of the gun off. 😳
I’ve done it before, but the three screws are a little awkward to get at if you don’t want to take your scope off.

Very interesting, as I have always wondered about the air path taken through the gun, but I can't seem to see the path in relation to the regs?

Yeah, I don’t entirely understand it either and why all of those set screws are there as well 🤷‍♂️
I would really like a smart person with computer skills to make a animation of the whole process
I’m sure somewhere scout has an actual animation from their design process. It would be cool if they could share it….. if it exists😉

Surely it does, as the rifle by in large is CAD designed and the machining BP's required in manufacturing it all.
To share openly would IMO not be in SKOUTS best interest as pirating of Intellectual as well Patented designs would be exposed ... not good !!!!!
One must remember that big country across the pond that absolutely DOES NOT honor U.S. based patents or intellectual property laws or rights :cautious:

Just stepped back in from the 97* temp taking a few dozen shot over chrony and at 150 yards.
AEA 38.5 grain hollow points in .22 caliber.
As rifles currently set up & running HP reg up to 2000 psi we're able to send em 895 fps for @ 67+ FPE !!! Now that's healthy !!
At the 150 yard mark slugs are landing inside 2" while resting rifle across the trucks bed parked in driveway. Not bagged, just rested there.

Kinda shocked the long 38.5 grainers shoot that well in the 1st gen Alloy skout barrel ( No clue on twist rate ??? ) as I've never seen it published.

That was fun but Hot !!!!

Skout has fooled with soooooo many barrel combos these past 2 1/2 years, not sure if they could I.D. what I've got ?
Alloy barrel w/ carbon wrap, 25" long in .22 caliber purchased when the .22's were nearly first released .... SKOUT, if reading this can you help ?
