See,
Winter is typically when some shooters begin to shoot indoors at only 22.86 meters rather than a full 25 meters the International 25M target was designed for. The shorter distance is pretty close to 10% less, and yet many "perfect score records" are set at this abbreviated distance. Yes, I know the powers that be have said its ok to shoot indoor matches at the 75 foot distance rather than the full 82+feet, but I feel there should be reduced size targets to go with the indoor shooting.
I wonder how many more perfect scores would occur with a target reduced by 10% in size?
For grins, I have shot a couple times OUTDOORS in the wind (we always have wind) at only 25 yards, and feel it was giving me two or three points extra, making "250" cards a lot easier.
what say?
