For whatever reason, evanix was never able to get things quite right with the fill probe on the Rex series - the guns are known for chewing up o-rings and I’m seeing the same thing with mine, both on the older and newer versions of the air cylinders.
The probe tends to stick and require a bit of force to pop out after a fill, in a way that other airguns I have don’t, and I think this is when the o ring near the end of the probe gets damaged.
anyway the “trick” is that if you push the probe in a bit before removing it, there is much less resistance and shear on the o-rings and I think they will last a bit longer this way.
I don’t think there are many users of this airgun here, but maybe this will help somebody.
I have to look up the size of those O-rings, because I need to order a few more.
