Hey guys! Here is a review of one of my older guns. I never realized that the Evanix Monster shoots 1300 feet per second! I had to use 13gr and 16gr pellets just to keep from breaking the sound barrier. Cool gun that is begging for some .177 cal slugs! This video also has accuracy testing out to 100 yards. Out of curiosity a few years ago I wound the wick up on my .20 rapid shooting 14.3grn premiers, the maximum velocity peeked at 1476fps

Yep, 21 1/2” barrel, 4mm port, valveless free flow buddy bottle to block adaptor, non regged, 230 bar fill, prototype fast flow firing valve and a monster hammer spring. 

i didn’t bother even trying accuracy it was purely an experiment to settle an argument to see what power/speed was achievable. There was a clip on YouTube for a while but it is no longer there.

About 3 months ago I set up a RAW 1000x .30cal, to shoot 51grn jsbs at 950fps, but before doing so I again pushed the limits to see what the maximum velocity I could achieve, I can’t remember the exact reg pressure but the first shot over the chrono blew it off the tripod so I thought the reading was an error, subsequent shots confirmed the speed at 1135fps.

Sounds awesome. I love my .20 cal Sheridan pistol, that thing really shoots hard.



On the Evanix...too bad I'm too cheap to buy slugs! I need someone to give me a bunch for free. I really want to start shooting them but there is no way I can pay $25 per pack X 4 to figure out which weight/diameter is best. ----oh well...

Since ya bragging ya too cheap to buy some slugs for the Monster it is only fitting that you pass/loan it to someone who isn't so cheap to test it for the ones who aren't :)
