Eurasian .30 cal connection

Brezzy north wind, first skif of snow here in west central Nebraska, come home from wrk see this eurasian collard dove at 60 yards out in my walnut tree figure its time for the Flex .30 cal

How do you like that scope?

I have the 6-18 power on my Air Arms and it has a great reticle and good glass but it took some time to get used to the really long eye relief. I see you have it mounted way forward like I had to do.

James i like the scope but i agree with you on the eye relief seem I'm always shifting some to maintain full view so to speak! I like my hawke airmax 30 better on my other gun...

Amazing that the Collared-dove has expanded to your state. Looks like they will spread throughout the entire US.

I remember seeing them at least 10 yrs ago at the city park for the 1st time, they have become quite common now but very leary around my place lol...

I wonder if the Euro doves are staying year round that far north?

I know in my part of Texas they stay year round, I know when they started comming around 20 some odd years ago, Everyone called them ring neck doves , 

The ring neck dove is a dove that can not live in the wild , and I knew something was a miss.

..wow... those ring necks are all they way up in n.e. ?? they're as big as whitewing dove here in fort worth, tx.... pretty good when wrapped with a strip of bacon and slice of jalepeno and baked at 350 for an hour (need 6-8 , tho)....

They also winter here! Going to give them a try on the ole grill with some bacon wrap see how they fare!
