Crosman Estate sale find

Picked up this little beauty at an estate sale this morning. In like new condition and works perfectly. My lucky day.

Nice! No scope grooves on the receiver and a squared stock at the tang? If so, it's a first-gen model.

Looks like my first gun. Nice find. Don't remember where it went but wish I had kept it. Next was 22 crosman gone too, in move to Florida I think. Wish I kept them.

I had a Crosman 760 and a Diana 23 as teenager wish I kept them. So many memories that include my airguns and my dog in rural CT.

Still considered a first variant. Not an 1st “A“ (square tongue on the receiver but a 1st “B“ (round tongue on the stock ). This is how the collectors differentiate the two. Crosman categorizes them both as just a 1st variant.
