Ernie 220 Swift Custom build 25 Dawson Action Baffled Barrel

Can anyone put me in touch with Ernie. He built a one off 25 for a forum member in Hawaii. I bought the gun from the original owner who never shot it. Martin @ RAW gave a quick 15 look over and said, 'Lots of work". It has a aluminum sleeved Walther barrel surrounded by aluminum disk baffles with a 777 Dawson Action and custom blue and gray laminate stock.

I use to live in Hawaii & I own one of the Ernie's creations (serial #005)! I've often considered parting with it because it probably my most valuable airgun, but then I'm reminded of how simple, beautiful, accurate & unique it is.

☝ Haven't shot mine for YEARS still holding air. It's an AZ 220Swift Chip Smith hybrid. Have several Vanquish based versions too.

Its essentially a Built like a tank 100% reliable accurate trouble free unregulated (Gun shoots so perfect it doesn't even need a regulator nor manometer just count your shots via how many magazines you used) Theoben Rapid (bolt action RAW HM1000) with his custom made receiver that was made to be the best of the best in custom guns from 3 of the best pairs of afternarket hands in the world.

Like giving your Corvette to Lingenfelter then Hennessey then to Callaway.

I like my Titanium Vanquish versions the best. One of them doesn't even have a serial number.

Just attempting to post a photo or two of my ol Chip Smith Vltor Special. 25 cal also. LW 21” barrel. He also made the ti tube, extended receiver, barrel shroud, and most of the internal parts. Gordon Dawson made the bench-rest trigger cassette. The Green Lam stock was carved by a friend. I wanted the Vanquish look. I glass bedded aluminum pillars, stippled, fit the grip to my hand, installed the adjustable Morgan bla, bla, bla. Not taking on any projects at this time. I’ve met Ernie and he is a heck of a nice guy. Haven’t spoke with him in a few years. His work is top of the line.
