Karma EQ 50 yard groups

I had a little time to test the karma EQ .30
My rifle has not been zeroed properly I took this optic off another rifle and threw it on the EQ. Shooting was done on a portable Caldwell table with sand bag and camera tripod. Standard 44.75 jsb pellets @880fps. 6 shot per group. At 50 yards. I have a bunch of different slugs and some heavy pellets to try out still. I am very happy with this rifle, everything about it is solid. Great job Karma Airguns, and thank you pellet shop. This is an amazing rifle

I am glad that you are enjoying your purchase! Have you tried any other ammo? I feel as though a one thousand dollar rifle should be doing better than an inch at 50yds. Unless you had terribly windy conditions.

Yes the other day 52 grain aea slugs were shooting great but i was having issues with my sand bag being too small. So i ordered a new one and went back out today. Im not on a solid bench on flat ground at a range. Considering my conditions its a great grouping. There was some wind. I'm on a portable plastic Caldwell table, that has movement. Set up on unlevel ground in soft sand shooting uphill. At a pit in the woods that has truck and dirt bike tire ruts everywhere. Its not zeroed yet. I'm not a professional shooter. It's balancing on a camera tripod and a sand bag i just got yesterday. It's an extremely accurate and well made gun for the price. That's just my opinion

Agreed! Keep enjoying it!

I'm going to have to copy/paste all those excuses reasons for my groups as well. Add in "pellets straight out of the tin" too.

Nice groups! Is the trigger really 3 lbs?
No it's a nice feeling trigger. There's a video that shows its 1lb 10 oz. I did the trigger upgrade modification today, and made an adjustment to the throw. It feels great, but I don't have a trigger scale.

Well, based on those conditions, that’s even more impressive with that group

Update 52.2 aea master slugs. 5 shots pulled one. 20250425_095123.jpg

This saddens me.

Is it a crisp break? Albeit heavy?
Long, creapy, heavy and sticks.
I would normally get right to adjusting but figure I’ll wait for part which is supposed to be here today.
I’m confident the gun will work out. I think I was taken in with the easy external adjustments but the
Zelos isnt much harder to get to.
I seem to be comparing the EQ solely with the Zelos. Just cause they’re my two all black metal guns
with a loud clank when shooting

My trigger mod is on the way the present trigger is the heaviest and longest I’ve ever had.
I think that includes toy guns from my youth. If the mod doesn’t make it 99% better,
well don’t know what good it’ll be
You will have it fast a few days. Most of the travel will be taken up with the block. I adjusted the linkage in front of the mag well slightly to shorten the throw too. Most of the magic happens with the sear adjustment screw behind the steel cover plate behind the mag well. There's a block with an m4 set screw in it that engages the sear. You want the set screw sticking out the back side of the block slightly. Turn it clock wise to make the trigger lighter. Definitely small adjustments like the video states. I just adjusted my sear screw about an hour ago and it feels amazing!!! I'm very impressed by how light it got. It cocks smoother as well after that sear adjustment.
