After getting the correct slugs for my taipan vet 2’s , I decided to revisit my epic 2 in 25 cal, both the LW poly and CZ barrels, 550mm. Both Steve and myself knew the LW poly liked smaller diameter slugs than the CZ. Well, the LW poly liked .2523 38g AVS slugs- just over 1/2 MOA at 54 yards. I then quickly zeroed at 103 yards and dropped 1 out of 4 groups at 1 MOA. Now this was at the end of our session and my HS screw came loose. Now I’m planning to expand this test with both barrels in detail next Monday hopefully. Now my CZ barrel likes .254 40g and/or 42g whichever is best will be 1 MOA at 100. In the end, both barrels are equal in slug accuracy- with the correct fitted slug.
