HW/Weihrauch Enjoying the simpler side.

Yesterday they finally broke ground on my outbuilding/shop.

I've been waiting three years to get one built. I'll finally have a proper shop/man cave. Unfortunately I temporarily lose my short range (<93 yard) shooting area.

Today I simply changed direction (literally) and shot crushed soda cans with my peep sighted "Baby BB Gun". It's a 177 Hw30.

The crushed cans make great reactive targets. They're a little smaller than a hocky puck and they jump backwards when hit. I shot them offhand until I missed them or they hopped somewhere I couldn't see them. Usually about 50 yards. I nearly emptied a full tin of Meisterkuglns today.

It was a real hoot going back to silly random offhand plinking. It was good for my soul. If airguns aren't fun for you anymore I recommend getting back to the simpler side of things.

New shop is a great addition, there are so many possibilities to how you can set it up. Always upgrade as you figure out exactly what you want out of it. Best thing is having a space to go and clear your head and be creative. Congrats!

Looks great! I know you've been looking forward to that and will really enjoy it.

I rarely move beyond the "simpler side" these days. It's the best fit for my simple old brain.

Nice. I love shooting cans, but try to hit the top lip or thick bottom edge so they dance. Never thought about crushing them. Man, talk about a simple brain! Congrats on the new shop to be.
