I don’t subscribe to apps.
Thank you. I don’t subscribe to apps. Easier to shoot at known targets and learn my rifle. Old school and just plan stubborn. At least that what they tell me.
I’m really not sure why you guys see so much of a difference between an “App” and going to a website to plug your numbers into their calculator. Just as much “risk” if not more from whatever it is that one should be afraid of (hacking, viruses, etc.)
For me, I’ll use an App every time. It’s what we dreamed of when I was a kid, namely that you could have a calculator sized device of your own with the power of a (at the time) supercomputer.
There are many who think yesterday was (in general) better than today. I’m not one. Of course, there are situations that may be bad now, and from time to time. But, in general, progress is real IMHO.

Appreciate all the feedback fellas.. Just wanted to know the energy.. Last thing I want to do is be looking at a "smart phone" while hunting. I don't shoot targets.. I just want know where i'm hitting at 25, 30...up to about 60 yards....If the app makes you a better hunter then that's great..

Phone apps are a problem as compared to downloading a computer program (App)I’ve stopped downloading apps to my phone a couple
of years ago and the amount of garbage I get dropped significantly. Dont know if you have an iPhone but now you can see all the info many of them get about you when you use phone apps that is none of their business. Not everyone is Ok with that.
