Eleven Rats today with my beastly Bantam...

Wanted to get out to the dairy after the recent snowstorm we had here in NYS. I knew the rats and other pests would be putting on the feed bags... Arrived at noon and there are at least a couple hundred pigeons, sparrows and starlings. Shot a few starlings and pigeons to keep the dairy owner happy, but I was there for the rats. Set up on top of the pictured tractor, which gave me an over watch on the far wall and deep down the pictured corridor. The horizontal white light at the end of the corridor is where I get my 45 yard kills on the rats. Nine of the kills were at 20 yards or less scope at 8x, using the red light on my PCP. Two where take at 45 yards, scope at 20x, no light. I wasn’t able to retrieve two carcasses. I could have bagged a bunch of pigeons and starlings... luckily for them the rats got my attention. Next visit will be strictly for the birds...
