Element Optics Titan Overview: Corona (Not Virus) Bottle Cap Challenge

https://youtu.be/pyU_2nfHhvE

I had the opportunity recently to test out the Element Optics Titan 5-25x56 scope. This thing has a TON of awesome features with high quality and well built internals to include stainless steel guts vs. brass like you will find in many other scopes. The stainless steel internals will keep the clicks nice and sharp for years to come. Also, the 34mm tube gives the shooter all kinds of vertical adjustment for long range shooting. Over 80 MOA in the scope!

Also in this video, I am announcing the UpNorthAirGunner Corona (Not Virus) Bottle Cap Challenge! How far can you hit a bottle cap with an airgun? Post your photos or video to social media and tag me at UpNorthAirgunner on Facebook or Instagram or YouTube - use the hashtag #AirgunBottleCapChallenge. Let's see how far you can go!

As a global community of airgunners, we are all going through challenging times and being asked to socially distance ourselves and be in isolation. Just today, Michigan announced a shelter in place order. In that announcement, the Governor recommended to stay in your home, but also to get outside and just be smart about it. Keep your distance from others and away from groups. That is what I will be doing in the woods and on the shooting range.

Let's stay connected through our great sport of airgunning. We will get through this and can get outside to maintain our sanity and kill a few Corona bottle caps along the way (or any other bottle cap of your choice).

Here are the specs from Element Optics, but I can tell you first hand - this IS A GAME CHANGER!

Meet the Game Changer: The TITAN. Like the Helix, the Titan puts your money where it matters, with precision-engineered internals and a turret system superior to other products in the same price class. To make things even better, we’ve gone one step ahead and given the Titan a 34mm tube and ED glass.

The 34mm tube allows for a greater elevation/windage range when dialing for those extreme distance shots, and the 56mm Objective lens with ED glass provides you with an ultra-sharp, clear image with a large field of view. The turret system has been upgraded from your stock-standard sporting optic to feature stainless steel internals for resistance against wear-and-tear when dialling regularly – something that modern shooting disciplines require.

The tool-free turrets and zero-stop mechanism give you high end features without breaking the bank, and the First Focal Plane reticle means the reticle subtensions remain true at any magnification. We’ve introduced quality control checks to give you peace of mind when taking that 1000 yard shot, and if something goes wrong, our Platinum Lifetime Warranty has you covered!

* 34mm Main Body Tube

* Illuminated, First Focal Plane Reticle

* Aircraft Grade Aluminium

* Side Parallax: 15yds-Infinity

* ED Glass for reduced chromatic aberration and improved sharpness

* Tool-Free Resettable Turrets with 10 MRAD / 25 MOA per Revolution

* Upgraded Stainless Steel Turret Mechanism

* Hard Mechanical Zero-Stop

* Removable Magnification Throw Lever

* Waterproof, Fogproof, Shockproof & Nitrogen Purged

* Sunshade, Lens Cloth & Rubber Lens Covers included

Hope you meant to post here🤔. Anyway....this was from 35 yds. with my Crosman Nitro Venom .22. Plastic water bottle cap.

(on my 2nd attempt to be honest)...Stay well👍😉

Great video. Thank you. Thinking about upgrading to a Titan from a Hawke Sidewinder FFP 6-24×56.

@UpNorthAirgunner I think I remember in one of your videos you mentioned really liking the Hawke Frontier. Any thoughts on the Titan vs the Frontier?

They are both really good scopes. I like the new reticles better for the Element and in that same price point the Titan's 34mm tube gives you much better vertical adjustability and low light transfer, but the Frontier from Hawke is an amazing scope as well.
