Some March optics also include an "aperture" ring but they call it their MD Disk. My March-FX High Master 4.5-28×52 came with one but I never used it yet. Here's a little info on what it's for...

I'm curious how the new Theos stacks up against the new Vortex Razor Gen3 6-36×56, Nightforce ATACR 7-35, March 5-40x56 Gen2, and ZCO 8-40x56. I'm interested in an unbiased review from someone like Ilya (Dark Lord of Optics) or someone else from the Snipershide forum.
One feature of the smaller objective lens is to increase depth of field, March scopes in particular are known to have shallow depth of field and the reduction of the objective really helps. Interestingly I might eventually get a March high master just because of the shallow depth of field for FT. The fact Theos has an objective reduction ring means it also has shallow depth of field. My sightron S8 depth of of field is measured in inches between 10-15 yards when on 40x.
To increase depth of field on my ATN during my objective is reduced to an hole about 3/8 of an inch. Also too much light is not good for image resolution so a reduction device will help with image get clearer/not washed out during the day while maintaining low light performance, almost like having the cake and eat it too!
