I’ve been playing with head to head comparisons and trying to make them as objective as possible. This is as close as I can get you to seeing these scopes side by side.

Don't own a Helix yet but the Aztec Emeralds both 25x and 18x I own many and they have way too much chromatic aberration and color shift for my eyes. Hope the Helix is a significant step up. I may try one some day.

I agree with the turret comments on the Aztec, but the low profile turrets are one of its features. I love my Helos but the turrets are much taller. My Aztec Emerald FFP has been great the the daytime visible, without blooming IR is awesome. I don’t dial with my Aztec I use holdovers. For my pesting purposes it work really well. Good, fair, unbiased review... thanks.

I have a EO Helix on my Impact Compact and it is very bright for its class. Plus you are right on that the Helix’s turrets are crisp and the clicks distinct.

I have a Helix Mildot on my impact, pretty descent glass HOWEVER the turrets are where the money is at!!! I experienced little to no parallax errors, parallax ranging is pretty damn spot on with only down side being fairly sensitive and the turrets elevation-windage dials match exactly to strelok! Precision Is the key word for this scope! My favorite scope right now, couldn’t be happier for 400 dollars!

You are so right. i can see that mine will age really well. just by looking at the i can tell immediately that is a beast of a scope for the price. 

I actually just found out that the warranty was transferable so if i need to sell it whoever is buying it will get the warranty too, that's awesome !
