Element HELIX?

I have the Mildot version and personally I really like it! Some say the center dot is a little big and it kinda is but it’s also easy for quick shots. It’s SFP so it’s designed for hunting not bench shooting, that’s where the titan and nexus come in. The turrets are dead nuts accurate and for 400 dollars I haven’t found a more precise nor as well thought out scope by a country mile!

I had one and was very disappointed with it. My turrets had some definite mush to them even though they tracked well wasn't what the videos showed as really crisp. The center dot on the Mil version was much too large for me. I think anything below 12x would have covered a sparrow at 50yds. Glass was also ok at best. Just wasn't what I expected from the hype. Sent it back right away.

I just got a new Gen2 Athlon Argos BTR 6-24x50 and blows away the Helix for the same price. Turrets are dang close to the Midas Tac turrets, everything on it is super smooth but the mag ring is on the stiff side. Reticle is real nice just wish there was a floating dot/crosshair but no biggie. Also had no idea but they now have Zero stops! Awesome bonus!

Buy only from return friendly dealers. Just return it if it's not to your liking and maybe buy 2 or 3 different choices maybe even 5 at a time and plan to return 2 out of 3 or 4 and just keep the one you like or just return all 5 if all are JUNK and just keep what you are happy with. Everybody's eyes are different so what may not be clear to someone may not be so according to your eyes that may perceive crystal clear optics at max power. Your eyes may be more forgiving than others.

qball, 😊

maybe my understanding of SFP scopes is incorrect or partial....

So, help me out understanding your comment above, plz. 👍🏼

🔶 I'm understanding you saying that SFP IS for hunting — so then FFP is NOT for hunting.

Q1: What makes FFP scopes NOT GOOD for hunting?

🔶 I'm hearing you say that SPF is NOT for bench shooting — so then FFP IS for bench shooting.

Q2: What makes FFP scopes BETTER for bench shooting than a SFP?

I'm glad you're finding the turrets right on — are you a dialer?!? 😄 I sure like dialing — I'm fascinated by the precision of the process of ranging, ballistic calculating, dialing, shooting — and then the HIT! Almost like magic! 😄 (ballistic magic, that is)
