Electronic bubble levels

All these digital levels with numbers looks impressive.
Of course meant for people not struggling with reading glasses.
But when you sitting at a bench and shooting groups, you won't devide your attention put up the glasses to read the numbers, you just need something simple and large enough clear go - nogo indicator that can show up in corner of the eye box?

The Triton ARTMS Long Range Rifle Anti Cant Digital Level for $40 from Amazon display does turn green when level. The display reverts to black numbers on a white background when not level. It is pretty bright green when level so you don't have to read the numbers. For $40 from Amazon it's easy to return via a local UPS store or Whole Foods store if it doesn't work out. Two downsides is that it only works on 30mm scopes and comes in only 2 heights.

You would think by now with all the extras they add on to scopes, like Sig Sauer scopes for example, that a level could be built into a scope.
they agree with that.

Hard no on digital levels. Besides being not allowable in many shooting disciplines there is no way to know if your calibration has reset to factory default or shifted for some other reason.

Gravity makes the bubble level consistent,
when you line up the vertical reticle splitting the bore centerline
then align vertical reticle with plumb string
then set bubble to level-the last step.

Leveling you rail or turret caps is indirect and risky.

My understanding is that the original poster was looking for a solution to check "level" without taking their eye off the target sight or an electronic go-no go level indicator system. The only sight I know of that includes a bubble level that is viewable through the sight while viewing the target are made for 10-meter guns. Champions Choice sells Front sights applicable for 10-meter guns that include a bubble level. I'm not aware if he is looking for a competition compliant device. I do agree with you that initial scope set up using analog devices may be more accurate vs. electrotonic devices.

I have a couple Long-Shot Products LTD Micro Level levels and they rock. Its the original eyepiece mounted scope level with leds to show you where you need to go. The MDT fiber optic add on does something similar but it is on the outside instead of the inside. Probably impossible to find unless someone has one they want to let go. There was a modified version that ran upside down like it was right side up. No issues with re-levelling or it being off, the thing is solid and I trusted it in high level competition situations 100%. Has two settings for sensitivity (bench and field) and is easy to see when looking through the scope. Can't believe it took so many years for this item to be duplicated (and it really hasn't been).
