Now there's no way to know about who made which one first in the prototyping phase but you should check out this: https://e-shotgun.com/

Was featured on Demo Ranch as what appeared nearly production ready. I reached out to them - along with probably thousands others to see about availability. They actually responded and I'm in line as they are trying to bring it to retail production.

For spin stabilization they should put fins on the end of the projectile, and install a fan in the gun. i.e. have the projectile magnetically levitate while the other capacitors are charging, and use the fan to give the projectile some rotational inertia. The fin could give the projectile a little more spin stabilization once it has been launched. 

I imagine that would be energetically pretty expensive, but perhaps the fan could help cool the trigger end of the gun at the same time.
