HW/Weihrauch Eighteen dimes??

I shot this page of 20 targets this afternoon in an Arkansas heat wave. Its 5 shots at 25 yards holding the rifle while seated at a bench. 18 almost a 19th can be covered with a dime ctc. Here's the whole page. No cherry picking here.

I love the fact the little HW30 can hold its own with the big boys:) I have the Beeman R7 version, and it too loves AA 7.33 pellets.
I had right shoulder surgery first part of May and I am in serious shooting withdrawal:( I am hoping the R7 will be part of my physical therapy soon!
My Hw30s are every bit as accurate as my other Weihrauchs inside 30 yards. That's not even it's best showing. That particular lot of AA 7.33s aren't particularly good in that gun. A good lot of them or the JSB 7.33 will shoot one ragged hole all day long. My wifes Hw30 is even more accurate than either of mine. And stronger too. It's a real anomaly.

Also I just enjoy shooting the 30s more. Why cock harder and manipulate heavier rifles only to shoot paper at 25 yards. At least that's my feelings.

I'm hoping your recovery goes well
Ron

Yes exactly. I will add that you'll usually see a 6x6 and shooting bag in my bench photos. I hold the rifle in my hands and use the 6x6 and bag to steady my left forearm or wrist. I'm always holding the rifle and my elbows are always on the bench.

I don't like resting a rifle because a rifle's zero will change if you shoot any other way. That can cause missed shots at critters when not rested.

I zero a rifle the way it'll be used the most. If I always hold the rifle, I'll always be in the ball park. I may be able to get better groups on a rest but I'd rather not deal with a drastically changing zero.

Be well,
Ron

Better get two more. Be a dang shame to go 20 for 20 and not be able to do photo op!
Could happen I started this target with my 177 Hw95 and had to stop to take a picture. That was it's first four groups after three sighters. With the first randomly grabbed tin.

That rifle was my first Weihrauch and is my most accurate break barrel. Only my 177 Hw97 can occasionally beat it with the right tin of pellets.
