This rifle was abused before I got it and in pieces as well. A buddy at work gave it to me for free. It's a Beeman RS 3 rifle in .177. Its chinese and I believe it was sold at wallmart. The barrel to the back end of the gun has a few degrees of upward tilt, probably due to cowboy flip ups. The beat up Beeman as I call it. The inner sleeve of the piston had mushroomed out and had to be ground down. The spring retaining washer had been beat up to a cupped shape and had to be hammered flat. There is an indent in the receiver from the piston body too. The wrong grease will detonate as I found not knowing any better, it was as loud a .22LR with smoke and a foul smell. Always use the right grease! Anyway, an associate at work gave me about 1000 pellets that had been collecting dust and I thought I would try to resurrect this springer, It's a cheap gun but it's my cheap gun if you know what I mean. Anyone ever bought parts for one of these or are they even available? Looking for a piston and breach o ring
